Healing Is Now | Biblical Teaching on Divine Healing – Atlin Family Church

Discover the biblical truth about divine healing. Atlin Family Church shares clear, scripture‑based teaching on physical, mental, and spiritual healing through Jesus Christ. Healing is available today.

Healing Is Now

Good morning and welcome to Atlin Family Church Online. We are so glad you’ve joined us today. We are streaming from beautiful Atlin, British Columbia, in the northwest corner of Canada. While there’s a snowstorm outside, we’re warm and thankful to be together.

My name is Pastor Dale, and this is my wife Rena Mae. Today’s message is very close to our hearts. The title is “Healing Is Now.”

Healing begins with believing it is possible. It begins with believing that God truly cares about you—because He does. Faith often starts small, but as Scripture teaches us, renewing our minds positions us to receive what God has already provided.

This message is available live and will also be archived on YouTube, Facebook, Spotify Video, and Instagram. We encourage you to share it so others can hear the good news.

The Heart of Atlin Family Church

We are in the process of establishing a local church here in Atlin. Our vision is family—people coming together, supporting one another, and growing in faith. Church is meant to be community, and community means imperfect people learning and walking together.

God’s timing matters. When we move in His timing, we experience His blessing. We appreciate our online community and are grateful to see it growing. Thank you for liking, subscribing, and sharing—your support helps spread the message.

God’s Heart for Healing

This connection today is not by chance. God wants you healed, whole, and free from pain. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid for everything—salvation, forgiveness, and healing. It was a complete work.

No sickness, disease, or condition is too big for God. Physical illness, emotional trauma, and mental health struggles all matter to Him. Much of the battle begins in the mind, which is why renewing our thinking with God’s Word is so important.

God does not bring sickness to teach us lessons. We live in a broken world, but God is not the source of disease. He is a restorer, and He always provides a way forward.

Healing Is Not a Future Promise — It Is Now

Scripture tells us clearly:

“By His wounds, you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)

Healing is not something we wait for someday. It was provided through Jesus over 2,000 years ago. Our role is to believe, receive, and align our thinking with God’s Word.

Healing is part of the full salvation package—spirit, soul, and body. Faith begins by hearing the Word of God, allowing it to move from our minds into our hearts, and then speaking it out.

Jesus Christ — The Anointed One

“Christ” is not Jesus’ last name. It means the Anointed One and His anointing. That anointing carries healing power.

Jesus’ ministry did not end when He ascended to heaven. His healing ministry continues through believers today. Every born‑again Christian is called to share the good news and walk in His authority.

Walking in Divine Health

We believe in divine health, yet symptoms can still try to come against us. When they do, we return to God’s Word, speak it out loud, and take authority over sickness.

There is nothing wrong with seeing a doctor or taking medication when needed. God works through medical professionals as well. Our prayer is always that God guides their hands and brings wisdom.

As faith grows, the intensity and duration of sickness often decrease. We’ve seen this personally. God’s Word works.

Why Some People Don’t Receive Healing

Not everyone who desires healing receives it, and there can be many reasons. One major barrier is perception—what we believe to be reality.

Some people unknowingly hold onto illness because it brings attention, identity, or even financial security. This isn’t judgment—it’s reality. Healing often begins with a decision: I want to be whole.

Faith, Fear, and the Word of God

Fear can block faith. When a diagnosis comes, the first response matters. Choosing faith over fear is critical, and sometimes fear must be spoken to directly.

God’s Word reminds us again and again: Fear not.

Faith grows by hearing the Word. Even faith the size of a mustard seed is powerful.

Scripture Confirms God’s Will to Heal

Jesus healed everyone who came to Him and never once said no.

Scripture shows:

  • Jesus healed the sick.
  • He gave His disciples authority to heal.
  • Healing continued through the early church.
  • Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Healing did not stop. God’s will has not changed.

Redeemed From the Curse

The Bible teaches that sickness and disease were part of the curse of the law. But:

“Christ has redeemed us from the curse.” (Galatians 3:13)

As believers, we are heirs to God’s promises—including healing.
