Atlin Family Church | Online Christian Church Teaching the Word of God

Atlin Family Church is a non‑denominational Christian church based in Atlin, BC, offering online teachings focused on faith, healing, prayer, and a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

Welcome to Atlin Family Church

Hello, and welcome. My name is Dale, and this is my wife Rena Mae. We’re so glad you’re joining us today. We’re broadcasting online to introduce Atlin Family Church, share who we are, and explain the direction God has placed on our hearts.

This isn’t a traditional church service. Instead, this is an opportunity for you to get to know us, understand our vision, and learn what we will be teaching as we move forward. We’re excited to take this step and grateful to have you with us.

How Atlin Family Church Began

Atlin Family Church began when God clearly spoke to Dale in the middle of the night and gave direction to move forward. From there, the administrative foundations were put in place, including applying for charitable status.

We are now a fully registered Canadian charity, which means donations are eligible for tax receipts. This allows us to invest in technology, ministry tools, and outreach so we can share God’s Word locally and around the world.

Who We Are

We both grew up on farms, learning the value of hard work early in life. We met in Grade Five, became high‑school sweethearts, and have now been married for over 42 years.

A major turning point in our spiritual journey came when we attended Bible school in 1999–2000. Since then, we’ve continued to grow through studying God’s Word, prayer, and real‑life experiences walking with Him.

Our heart is simple: to help people develop a real, personal relationship with God.

Our Mission and Purpose

Atlin Family Church exists to teach the Word of God directly from the Bible, without religious rules or man‑made traditions.

We are a non‑denominational church, and our style is more like sitting around a kitchen table than following a formal ceremony. We believe faith grows when God’s Word moves from the head to the heart and is lived out daily.

Christianity was never meant to be limited to one day a week. It is a day‑to‑day, moment‑by‑moment relationship with God—hearing His voice, following His leading, and trusting Him for provision, healing, and direction.

Hearing God’s Voice

God desires ongoing communication with His children. As we learn to hear His voice, our relationship deepens and our faith grows.

This isn’t reserved for pastors or leaders. God speaks to everyone. As we learn to recognize His voice through Scripture and prayer, we become more confident in making decisions, walking in peace, and fulfilling the purpose He planned for us.

What We Teach

People often ask, “Will this be like other churches I’ve attended?”
The answer is no—because every church is shaped by the people God calls to it.

Atlin Family Church is centered on family, relationship, and truth, not performance or tradition. Our teaching includes:

  • Faith rooted in the Bible
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Empowerment through the Holy Spirit
  • Living out God’s promises in everyday life

There is no “perfect church.” A church is a family—people growing, learning, and walking through life together.

Freedom from Religion and Tradition

We intentionally avoid religious rules and traditions that can confuse or burden people. The Bible tells us that God never changes, and we believe sticking closely to His Word keeps us grounded in truth.

Our goal is clarity, simplicity, and authenticity.

Our Role as Pastors

Dale pastors full‑time, while Rena Mae also works locally in Atlin. Our primary responsibility is to teach God’s Word so believers can grow strong in faith and confidence.

As Christians, we are the body of Christ—His hands, feet, and voice on earth. God works through us as we step out in obedience, led by the Holy Spirit.

The Power of the Gospel

Jesus commanded His followers to go into the world and preach the Good News. Those who believe will experience God’s power at work in their lives.

We believe the Bible is still true today. As believers:

  • We expect God to move
  • We believe in healing
  • We trust God for protection and provision

Faith is not about testing God, but about trusting Him in the unknown.

Healing, Forgiveness, and Freedom

Healing—physical, emotional, and spiritual—is a vital part of the Christian walk. We believe God still heals today, and we teach on receiving healing through faith.

Forgiveness is also essential. That includes forgiving God when we’ve blamed Him, forgiving others, and forgiving ourselves. Forgiveness brings freedom, and freedom brings life.

A Church for Everyone

Atlin Family Church welcomes people as they are, regardless of background, culture, or past experiences. We believe the Bible teaches:

One Lord. One faith. One baptism. One God and Father of all.

Faith in God produces the same results for anyone, anywhere.

Support, Growth, and Calling

We strive to help people live a life worthy of their calling. Everyone has a God‑given purpose—whether in ministry, business, creativity, encouragement, or service.

True fulfillment comes from walking in what God has called you to do.
